Player Stats Explained
Pulse
Pulse also known as heartrate or BPM (Beats Per Minute) is the amounts of beats the heart can do each minute. The pulse can be anywhere from 0-250 with 80bpm being considered ideal.
Blood Pressure
Blood pressure is shown in two values, systolic and diastolic usually described as "x over y".
An ideal blood pressure is 90/60 - 130/80 anything below or above that should be corrected.
Oxygen Saturation
This value simulates the bloods oxygen saturation with anything between 95-100% being ideal.
When the oxygen saturation starts to dip below that, medical intervention is needed.
Revive States
There are currently 4 ways to revive a critically injuried player.
The first and most used revive way is when a player is in "last stand" or the first stage of death, where they still have a heartrate, bloodpressure and oxygen saturation, even though it may be very low.
To heal a player in this state, all you need to do is bandage and sew all their external wounds, and injecting them with a shot of epinephrine. Once they are back up on their feet you might need to inject them with a pack of either blood or saline, depending on how much blood they've lost. Take a minute or so and check their pulse and bloodpressure so that they are within a ideal range before letting them go.
If the player is fully dead or in asystole you are able to revive the player in two ways
The second revive method being performing cpr.
Depending on how the server owner on your server has setup the ambulance job, it might be enough to just perform cpr on a patient in asystole to bring them back to life. If not you might need to pair with with defib shocks, as decribed below.
The third revive method being defibrillator. If the player is in asystole you can place down an ecg monitor, hookup the patient to it and charge it up.
It's recommended to start below 100 joules charge and then ramp it up after each failed electric shock. Defibrillators can also be used on patients with abnormal heartrythms, such as vFib or torsades. These will be shown on a ecg or ICU monitor display when the patient is hooked up to one.
The fourth revive method is using the revive kit.
This item will instantly revive the player and restore all player values to normal. It essentially acts as admin revive if you're unable to revive a player using any other methods, or are in a pickle.
Health & Blood Regeneration
For a player to begin regenerating health, blood, and reducing pain, they must be in a "stable" condition. This means their blood pressure and heart rate (BPM) must be within livable ranges. Blood pressure can fall outside the ideal range and still allow regeneration, as long as it remains reasonable. Similarly, a BPM as low as 40 can still enable regeneration, even though the ideal is 60 or higher.
In addition to maintaining stable blood pressure, BPM, and oxygen saturation, all wounds must be bandaged. However, wounds that still require stitching wonβt prevent regeneration, as long as there are no open wounds present.
