Medical Equipment

Medical items and their use cases

Morphine

Morphine impacts the players pain and pulse and can in turn effect the players blood pressure. This medication is aimed to reduced a players pain level and/or pulse and/or bp.

It is generally recommended to use this in most types of care as it reduces the pain significantly and in turn reducing the pulse and potential screen effects of the patient.

Do not use this if the patient has a low blodpressure as this medication will lower that even more into potential critical levels. Stablize the patient first.

Epinephrine

Epinephrine also known as adrenaline, impacts the players pain and pulse. This medication will cause increased pulse and and a slightly reduced pain level.

This can be used as an alternative to morphine in some cases as it reduces pain levels but also increases the pulse leading to a bump in blood pressure. So make sure that it keeps within stable levels. Another use case or epinephrine is if the patient has an unsually low pulse or bloodpressure that needs a boost.

Propofol

Propofol is a fast-acting sedative used to induce or maintain sedation in a patient. It quickly reduces consciousness, which is helpful in surgical or diagnostic procedures

Blood

The blood pack item comes in two variations, 250ml and 500ml. These items, when injected into the player will increase the players blood levels.

These can be used whenever the patient has lost blood, but keep in mind to try to ration these. If the patient has a minor bloodloss but is in stable condition, they will regenerate the blood to normal levels over time.

Saline

The saline pack also comes in two variations, 250ml and 500ml. This works essentialy the same way as blood packs with the difference of it giving the player less blood. (This will by default have a larger stock in the medical store)

Try to use this instead of blood packs if you are in a short supply.

Sewing Kit

The sewing kit prevents packaged wounds from reopening.

Try to stitch wounds together as soon as possible to prevent them from reopening, causing pain and bleeding.

Bodybag

Put β€œdeclared dead” players inside these bodybags for transport to the morgue. These bodybags can be placed on the stretcher when in a folded position. (when a player is put inside a bodybag they are not removable until respawn or relog)

Pager

Use this item to relay information to the hospital through the terminal screens.

Tourniquet

Tourniquets are able to be placed on all limbs to temporarily stop the bleeding, but this also causes increased pain.

Advised to be used on limbs with major trauma to prevent the patient from dying of blood loss.

Revive Kit

This item puts the patient into a healthy condition immediatly and removes all types of injuries.

An alternative to admin revive.

Bandages

The following spreadsheet shows the efficiency of each dressing on each wound.
